St John of God Ballarat Hospital

I have just spent 15 nights at this hospital. 3 of these were in the general ward after surgery and another 12 nights in the rehabilitation centre. I could not recommend this hospital more highly. The staff were sympathetic and very professional. All went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and recovering well. The food was amazing with a wide variety and always well presented and tasty. Thank you to all the staff at the hospital. You are amazing.

Can't say enough about the high quality of care my 17yr old son recently received in the ED on Monday 9th May. (We came across from The Ballarat Base ED after being told we were wasting their time and ours by seeking help there. The triage nurse told us to see a GP!!)
From the instant we stepped into St John of God ED we were listened to, spoken to compassionately and treated with respect and kindness. The Triage nurse listened and took his symptoms seriously, we were taken straight through and tests were started straight away. Thank you all soo much for listening and figuring out what was going on with my son.

I had surgery in March at St John of God. I found everyone there friendly. I received wonderful care from the very professional nurses.

Thanks to the amazing staff/nurses/doctor in the emergency/day procedure unit on the 3rd floor for looking after my daughter. Your professionalism and care was truly amazing. Thanks so much for looking after her x

One of my worst experiences. The nurses were so rude. Took them two hours to give me an extra blanket while I was shivering with high fever and dropped blood pressure. I can't put it in words what a nightmare it was. I ended up with a panic attack in their care something I had for the first time in my life.

I’ve had two excellent experiences at St John’s. From staff to nurses to doctors, all providing first class care to the expeditious and smooth process of the reception area.

Went there to do advanced Radiology not available in Warrnambool. At lakes Imaging I didn't wait so long. Customer service is brilliant. Wish me good luck and I hope to hear good news I don't like going to hospital unless I have to

Thank you for the exceptional care I received at SOJ Ballarat Emergency Department yesterday. I was in a vulnerable position health wise & could not have asked for better health care. Everyone I encountered was professional, friendly & highly trained. Particular shout out to nurses Liv & Kate, two absolute angels. Also Dr Chang who was so thorough & helpful.🙏🏻
