Spotlight Ballarat

Hard enough to navigate around their website to order with the blurry images and all but when one of my orders arrived the items boxes are scratched up and worn like the are from a good will shop! A fastener box busted open in the bag everywhere. I would have walked right past this if it looked like this in store!

As far as this kind of shop goes for someone like me. It's great. They have a lot of good stuff I would never have thought of going there for. Christmas decorations as an example. But the staff there are super helpful for people like me who don't know what they're really looking for. So like Bunnings, you'll end up walking out with more than you came for.

Aisle completely blocked by stock waiting to be placed on shelf. Couldn't find item I wanted and no staff to ask for assistance. Prices missing on many items. Staff not friendly.

I do love Spotlight, they always have specials on and make sure you get a VIP card. I am always here for my Airbnb stuff.

I have a new Airbnb that is across the road from lots of trees. So many times a day crows attack themselves in the reflection of windows as it's breeding season.

It's rather sad actually as they really hurt themselves. So after searching Google and not being satisfied with any of the suggestions I got some sheer curtains and put them on the outside of the siding doors out to the balcony.

They move in the wind and stops the reflection. People can still see through them so lets light into the rooms too. So is a win win for all.

The store has a good selection of fabrics. All the younger members of staff are cheerful and helpful where they can be. The older members of staff, specifically in the sewing/fabrics section are incredibly rude and angry for no reason, as if you're putting them out for asking a question, just really horrible people to have to deal with.

Staff are friendly and helpful! Become a Member and you'll benefit financially on a range of items at different times of the year! Great for bedding sheets & donna covers and 'Halloween' decorations and 'Christmas' decorations!

Rang the store 4 times last night, opening hours, no one answered.
Just now I rang and yep same.

I have been in the store 3weeks in a row and the DMC threads have not been topped up. Yes sale on but 3weeks.

Gosh the bedding,wool, other things in store well stocked up.
Over it.

They have great art supplies at a great price and the service person was good and friendly. I got some great bargains to set up my art studio.
