I'm conflicted.

First encounter 10/10: I was served by a Asian man who was extremely friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. Food was yum and great tasting. The Asian man was more then helpful and didn't hesitant to cater to me when I requested different packaging for the chicken.

Second Encounter 2/10: Had a big lady serve me, was very rude and had the worst attitude. She acted as if i was being a inconvenience to her. She never once smiled and made me feel terrible (I saw her as a big bully). When I asked for the chicken to be placed in a metal tray (due to the grease going through paper) she snapped at me stating "you only get that if you buy gravy". She also didn't drain the chips and instantly bagged up the chips.

I will never return to this place ever again. Unless the Asian man is working.

Pro - Good pricing, yum food.

Best chicken and chips with gravy in town. Their chicken/mayo roll has more chicken crammed into it then you would think is possible and is extremely good value (and delicious).

Their customer service is usually more hit than miss but even at its worst the food more than makes up for it.

They close quite early compared to most takeaway places which can be frustrating. They don't take EFTPOS but there is an ATM right outside.

I haven't been to this shop before even though I've lived here for over 3 years. Today, I just walked in and bought a meduim sized roast chicken, a piece of battered flake, and meduim sized chips. They were slightly higher than the alternative chicken from supermarket. However, I think the roast chicken was much more flavorful than from the supermarket. Also, buying it from a local business is the best way to help them to stay in a competition. You need cash because the shop doesn't have an eftpos. For me, I have found a nice and cheap shop for some day I don't want to cook. Staff who served me was so kind and made me feel less nervous. Next visit will occur soon. Thanks for a good service and scrumptious meal. Please being polite like you did today even though you seemed to be just working here. Most importantly, I can wait if you keep your standards by not rushing to finish each order. CHIPS with a sprinkle of salt are good enough if they were fried properly.

I order a chicken roll with gravy only, I received a soggy mess of a microwaved chicken roll, wrapped in plastic bag to make sure the roll goes extra soggy and gross, with gravy dumped on-top and ran all through the bag, and it had mayo under the gravy. Lucky I'm not allergic to mayo like my cousin or else I would have been hospitalized. The scalloped potatoes were ok tho, avoid the chicken roll

My trusted local fish and chicken and chip shop. Fish here is battered fresh (unlike the horrible pre-battered fish and soggy chips at the Mt Clear Fish and Chip shop just metres away). The only bad experiences I've had at Chicken Spot are the occasional overcooked flake being dry, but it's very rarely done. The chips are always awesome!

Fantastic Customer service! Very reasonably priced! Beautiful chicken, chips and the gravy is so good. I can highly recommend. I drive across town to get their food. Just wish they delivered!

Many options! The taste was good. Definitely value for money💰 Everything was less salt which was great for us with a toddler. Perfect for a quick takeaway.

Have been coming here since I was a kid with Wally running the show back in the day. Glad to say the most recent owners have kept the charm alive and do a great job. Quality roast chooks, freshly battered fish every time and all very reasonably priced. Love having this as our local.
