Very good service. I was getting a copy of my car key which needed a chip to work with the immobiliser. The original was a little worn and required a little wiggling to start the engine, but they managed to create a copy that would work perfectly. The locksmith was super nice, as well. Highly recommend!

Go here to get ripped off. Charged $26.95 by Christopher for engraving a pet tag! Website says from $12.95. Anywhere else in Ballarat would be better. Never again.

Chris from mister minit is inane when it comes to watches he is the only guy i let touch my watches from replacing batteries and removing and fitting links know I have tommy hilfiger watches and guess watches yes I know they are not a rolex but I love them and when he works on them he does not mark them or scratch them and he even lets me know if I can get warranty on them from the manufacturer so I dont have to waste money on getting them repaired if I don't have to so chris if your reading this keep up the good work and ill see you soon

Went there today with my Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch which got fog on the glass but perfectly fine and working as you can expect from those kind of watches. It just got sometimes foggy which was annoying to me. Chris had a look at watch, looked in some book and assured me that he can clean the fog out and to come back in one hour. I came back to pick up my watch just to find out that he couldn’t do it and he actually completely messed up my watch. Now its not working at all. He advised me to go to Seiko authorised service saying wasn’t his fault. Time, day, pointers… nothing is working correctly. He got me really upset with his attitude and arrogance telling me to go home, read the booklet and reset it. How can I reset it Chris if second hand/pointer is not moving? Obviously you stuffed it up mechanically Chris. If you can’t fix something tell your customer upfront. The only good thing if anything can be good out of this, is that Chris offered full reimbursement for Seiko authorised service and repairs. Oh, when I asked do I owe you anything, (out of politeness) he said 27 dollars. I paid. Will never go back there. Actually I will go one more time to get reimbursed when I fix my watch at authorised dealer. What a nightmare.

Edited: The watch has been sent today from reputable Ballarats watch repairer to authorised seiko repair centre in Sydney. They did not want to touch it as it is Astron watch, very delicate to open and work on it so they advised the best option is to send it to Sydney and wait 2-3 months to be fixed.

Thanks for replacing my garage remote this morning with a new one. Worked fine. Definitely a fault with the old one, cheers.

Go to the Wendouree Mr minit, that's where the owner actually works and he is really good. Took my boots here some time ago to get fixed up and Chris absolutely destroyed them. Classic doc martens you can't buy anymore. He even let mice get them so there's chunks missing from it. The owner managed to save some of it for me. I'd rate Wendouree one 5 but this one 1 because of Chris. I can see quite a few others complain about him too... You might want to let Chris go guys.

If you come here as a customer DO NOT LET CHRIS TOUCH YOUR STUFF

Fixed our car key that a big name locksmith in town cut incorrectly twice. Very happy with their work!

Worst customer service when I went in today to get my watch fixed. 1st off standing at the counter for over 10 mins with numerous call outs to the guy who was just standing with his back to me, for his response to "yeh what do you want".
Asked if he had a battery for my watch was told $7.95 just foe the battery asked if he could put it in for me with his response "well only if your going to pay me $22.95 for it".
Told him I would just take the battery "yep what ever" was his response as he three my change and receipt on the counter even though I had my hand out waiting for the change.
Will never go back to this one again and I think some training in customer service is greatly needed.
