Was referred here for a Sleep Study, everything was going well until I was told during my results appointment that I'd be waiting approx. 3 weeks to begin a CPAP trial, but then went on to have all emails and calls ignored when trying to follow up after some delays. This began in Sept, 4 months ago and still haven't had a single reply.

Ended up going elsewhere otherwise my condition would be significantly worse by now. Absolutely appalling.

After a little initial difficulty in making contact, I had an excellent first consultation today. The Doctor saw me at the appointed time .
The reception staff were friendly and efficient.
Dr Altous made me feel comfortable from the start, and after first reading the notes from my GP, asked me to describe my history and symptoms in my own words. After examining me she referred me to have a few more tests, and started me on a interim treatment plan, pending results of the tests. Everything we discussed was explained to me clearly.
I left the Consultation rooms feeling a lot more positive about my issues, than when I arrived.

This has to be the worst medical clinic that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. They rarely answer the phone when you ring nor do they call their voicemails back. To add to the fun when they do book you for a sleep study everything needs to be paid upfront then they just go ahead and rebook your study and all follow up appointments (which only occur during business hours so if you work this means you need to reorganise any leave that has been booked). Even though I have started treatment with Manse I will be speaking with my GP to get a referral elsewhere.

Chronic Bronchitis for over 1½ yrs, suspected bacterial cause. Many tests & treatments with no improvement, ruined my Immune System so have had multiple 2nd & 3rd level illnesses, huge daily coughing fits so can't work or function. 1st appt seemed great, reviewed test results, went over options & treatment. Booked CT scan to be done at clinic ($$$ out of pocket instead of Bulk Billed at hospital) but had to delay as had Covid, sinus infection & laryngitis. They did respiratory tests instead, which I scored low on but passed. Even though every single illness & health problem I've had for almost 2 yrs all originate from my cough, because I passed the tests they cannot help me. I still have the cough, it's still controlling my life, still no answers & another $225 I can't afford out of pocket! Can't help me with the laryngitis I've had for 9 wks, which prevents me from working, so passing me off to an ENT specialist. Not impressed & basically a waste of time & money for zero answers or help.

I had an initial consultation with Lead Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Specialist Dr Eduardo Gaio and Sleep Technologist Taylah. Both Dr Gaio and Taylah guided me through the whole process. They were thorough and professional, they listened to me and took an active interest in what I said. They also asked questions that were genuinely curious. It was clear that they are sincerely interested in my health care journey.

Professionally, I work in the field of health literacy. Good organisational health literacy is all about ensuring the onus of communication is on the clinician/provider, instead of leaving this up to the patient to lead the conversation. For example, instead of telling me what a sleep disorder is and then asking “Does this make sense?” Taylah asked me: “What’s your understanding about sleep disorders?” Open-ended questions like this remove ambiguity and open up a dialogue. As a patient I felt empowered. I was quite impressed.

I was surprised to see negative reviews, because my experience was a highly positive one. Thank you again for your attention to detail, and I am looking forward to working with you to help improve my quality of life.

Had an appointment with doctor which could not pin point my issue, suggested sleep study and another $165. Medicare covers the rest of the bill so close to $400!! Turned up for sleep study but was not told I had to have sleeping clothes on by receptionist. Had to change sleep study to another form. I tried the sleep study but could not sleep with it on and felt claustrophobic, I could not sleep with tubes in nose. I took it off after 2 hours as I could not sleep. Waste of another $165! Phoned up today by receptionist to book an appointment with Doctor to review results!! What results there would be none!!! Told this is not included in second fee and would require another $165 booking!!! I have no confidence in Manse Medical and would not recommend them, I will tell everyone about their poor services and yes I too had issues with receptionists not following up and asking for the same data twice. Petty I did not review the google reviews first before visiting them.

My review is based on real experience of my patients as well as doctor’s point of view. As a GP working in a busy big community of the west, I will trust the whole staff of Mans Medical for all my patients needs starting from physicians understanding patients needs, staff that are friendly and with great smiles on face, to the sleep studies they offer, and the greatest sleep technician who knows how and what to chose for the patient based on their needs and making it very simple and easy for the users if CPAP.
It is the biggest struggle for us as GP’s to convince patients to use their machines and medications unless it is hassle free and convenient, which is the case when you know where to send your tricky patients. Happy to know about Mans medical.😃

It’s sad to read some comments from people with negative experience. It’s important to work closely with the Sleep Specialist and other Staff remembering to respect their limitations in the field of knowledge in this special medical field.
Manse Medical is in good hands with Dr Bradbeer. Communication is very important.
